I should be editing but…
I read my emails. And Bookcloseouts is having a sale. So I’m cyber shopping. Naughty me. I can hear my credit card groaning with despair. But I’m still at browsing and filling cart stage. There’s still time to go and empty the cart or at least lighten it.
It’s been a big party week over at my new group blog We Love Ya, written by Young Adult writers, dedicated to Young Adult fiction.
On Wednesday, Kiki Lon asked ‘What excites you about YA now?”
On Thursday, the zombies gatecrashed the party and Amanda Ashby asked commentators to reveal the silliest thing they did for love for a chance to win a copy of her new novel Zombie Queen of Newbury High.
Today, Vanessa Barneveld interviews Sarah Foster, publisher and Managing Director of Walker Books Australia.
Tomorrow, it will be Sara Hantz‘s turn to post.
And on Easter Sunday, I interview the delightful Aussie Young Adult author (and a young adult himself), William Kostakis, author of Loathing Lola. (Oh to be 19 again. Actually no. I don’t think I want to be 19 again. That was a year of heartbreak.)
I’m sure there will be another party in the RWA chatroom this evening as we’re on the eve of Rhian Cahill’s debut release, One Night in Bangkok.
Check out her steamy cover:
One night in Bangkok is all it takes to turn Beth Martin’s future plans upside down. After being betrayed by the man she’d tied herself to, the last thing she needs is another man screwing her life up. But Tom is different. He makes her feel sensations long forgotten, makes her want in ways best left unspoken. Can she live out her wildest fantasies in one decadent night? And when it’s over, can she walk away, or will what she doesn’t want prove to be what she needs?
One Night in Bangkok is released on April 11th at Noble Romance.
Now it’s back to the editing. Not the shopping. Not the tweeting. Back to the editing.
