About

I’m a 41 year old  writer living on the Mid North Coast of NSW Australia.  My favourite genres are light women’s fiction and young adult and I also dabble in collage poetry.  I have a Cafepress shop called Chickollage which specialises in fun collage poetry designs and writers’ motivational products.

With seven complete manuscripts in various stages of development, I’m serious about developing my writing career. I am a member of Romance Writers Australia and secretary of the Nambucca Valley Writers Group.  My current writing mantra is ‘Write Edit Submit’.

My short story Beyond Happily Ever After was published in the September 08 issue of Wet Ink magazine.

I have my goal of submitting by the end of the year. As RC said one step at a time.

To all of you I say, BELIEVE! and don’t give up. I shelved my first novel 3 times over a 5 yr period, then self-published it to prove it was worthy, and worked like a demon marketing it. Guess what!? I got a fabulous NY agent who sold it at AUCTION! And now my second novel is being released in July. Both have sold to major German and Italian publishers. If revenge is sweet, validation is sweeter. So keep plugging along, ladies, and it will happen!

Thanks for your comment Maryann, it is all about persistence and determination. And we all plan to get there.
